The purpose of this project is to develop a platform and use Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms to examine data from Electronic Databases of children’s hospitals, as well as from other specialized secure medical databases. The general goal is to identify neonatal pain phenotypes for predicting postoperative survival rates and possible chronic pain development in children. This project is performed in the framework of collaboration agreements between our NGO, the City Multidisciplinary Hospital of Mother and Child named after Prof. M. F. Rudnev in Dnirpo, Ukraine; and engineering (HEIGVD) and health (HESAV) schools in Switzerland.

This project is aimed at helping orphans affected by the war in Ukraine, children abandoned at birth, prematurely born children in need of treatment, medical care, rehabilitation and social assistance. The project is specifically focused on early detection services for families in difficult life situations in order to timely resolve family problems to prevent children from entering medical institutions and boarding schools (prevention of child abandonment).

Targeted assistance is provided by the NGO “NEURO_UNIVERSE” at the request of medical institutions and social services for child protection (Dnipro).
